Remembering Canada's Involvement in WW1

Today is the 110th anniversary of Canada’s involvement in World War I.
Of the 650,000 Canadians who enlisted for military service, 424,000 went overseas as part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. By the end of the War, our country, with fewer than 8 million citizens, would see more than 66,000 Canadians (and Newfoundlanders) lose their lives, and another 170,000 wounded.
