I had a great visit with McKinley (Davidson, SK) and Bennett (Winnipeg,MB), youth delegates with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Kids for a Cure. They shared with me the impact that Juvenile Diabetes has on the lives and we talked about the importance of finding a cure as it is the only auto-immune disease without a cure. They also recommended that the government invest $30 million over 5 years and that the government should invest in helping Canadians with the mental health issues associated with having diabetes.
