Today is the 107th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, in which soldiers from all four Canadian divisions fought side-by-side for the first time during the First World War and captured Vimy Ridge. However, this impressive victory was not without cost. And so today, we remember the thousands of Canadians who were killed or wounded in combat and take pride in one of our country's most defining moments that resulted from their sacrifice.
